What really kills me about the Mavs not getting Whiteside is they won't even meet with Howard. Either free Dirk or meet with Howard.

Am I crazy for thinking the Pacers are right back to where they were pre PG-13 injury - the #1 contender to LeBron's team in the East??? I mean, we pushed Toronto to 7 games and we should be A LOT better next season and Toronto should be worse with a rookie center likely taking Biyombo's place in their rotation. I'm guessing Indy's rotation at the moment would be: STARTERS C - Miles Turner PF - Thad Young SF - Paul George SG - Monta Ellis PG - Jeff Teague BENCH C - Al Jefferson F - Lavoy Allen G/F - CJ Miles G - Rodney Stuckey If only we could get a decent starting SG who could hit the 3 and make Ellis 6th man.

Could make a run at the #2 as it stands, but there is a wide gap to the Cavs. I'm still not very happy with the starting guards, that lineup is relying on Teague hitting 3's like he did last year and not the 5 years previous. Miles could start and shoot 3's, but he's been so streaky. Ellis will probably run the 2nd unit regardless, but I will feel much better if they can use the remaining space to get a SG like Lee or Johnson.
