I dunno, of course Malicks visuals are amazing, but the other half of his movies are the subtext and whatnot, specifically how the grandest themes relate to highly specific, personal themes. Am I wrong in thinking this will pretty much be a flashier version of Neil Tysons' Cosmos?

Am I wrong in thinking this will pretty much be a flashier version of Neil Tysons' Cosmos? Ok, that's fair enough. It could be that they're just taking the icing off of a nice cake with this concept. I was also disheartened when I found out that some of the footage from ToL was stock (and it's re-used in this trailer). I think most people are hoping that his autobiographical phase is over and that he'll be off to try new things now, with this, Weightless, and a just-announced WWII-era drama. So Voyage of Time will definitely be a departure, and possibly end up being a not much more than a curiosity, but he's definitely at a point critically and creatively where he needs to move on.

That Daniel Radcliffe movie looks hammy as gently caress. I could like it. But yeah The Believer's premise was way cooler. Featured Ryan Gosling as a self-hating Jew. There's a super sick scene where he combines the Nazi salute with Jewish prayers. Indie as poo poo too -- just watch the trailer. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=psJbF8G6Zjw
