I personally hate how macros for combat actions are implemented. If you press a skill's button while GCD is happening (within reasonable timing), it will buffer your command and use it immediately after the cooldown is done, but for some reason macros don't do this. I'm not allowed to tie a party message macro to my Berserk or Provoke which means I can't tell anyone in chat that I've used them, and if I do try it there's a chance that the skill simply doesn't go off because lol cooldown. I once tried putting my whole WAR opener in a macro so that I could actually not hit the wrong button when doing it, but the "wait" commands don't let me tighten the timing to where it can get around the GCD. I eventually found another solution by putting my opener on a separate skill bar and assigning its buttons to my numpad, but not being able to warn about Berserk in DPS-intensive runs or Provoke to a tunnel-visioned main tank is really frustrating. Also Niddhogg Ex is super duper easy and the 235 weapons are baller.

Also berserk macros are silly and unnecessary. A good bard will be paying attention enough to cast wanderer's without it. No healer should ever waste a GCD on pacification cleanse, but it is totally cool to park Selene on sic near the tank and she'll snipe it off.

If it actually matters the content is hard enough that you will know exactly when the tank needs the cleanses. If it's not then who cares. (Selene: Selene cares)

Is there any kind of real visual indicator beyond "scroll on to them, see active buffs"? Also, it's Warden's Paean. Wanderer's Minuet is our DPS buff.

2 nights ago in the last boss of a vark, game disconnected. Someone else in the raid disconnected too. I came back, rolled for loot, and the game disconnected again. I've also been getting random disconnects a lot more recently so yeah there's been an issue. Glad they're finally addressing it.

You can't inner beast in deliverance as it's a defiance only skill. On a boss pull the warrior should be popping berserk right after the 7th GCD for triple fell cleave on open, so you can also just toss it on them after your opener.

Agreed that Umbrite is nothing compared to UNID slog. I'll get Eso just farting around doing other things that are actually fun instead of doing beast tribes non stop for months on end.

I think a lot of the issue was, outside of the sheer volume of unidentified items required, was there wasn't any feeling of progress until you got all of them. Umbrite at least has a midpoint cutscene and a method to speed up the process afterwards, albeit rng based.

I paid the three bucks for the new summer shorts, mostly because I liked the sash on the front. Fair warning: the sash goes away if you wear any shirt that goes anywhere near the belt line. I was hoping it'd still hang out, even with short enough tops like the Riviera doublet or even the DoW puffy-style shirts. Oh well.

Thought I'd try the free trial as the game is on sale, but the launcher isn't recognising my login. When I try to do the password reset from there, it says there's no account on my email, but I'm looking at it on their website right now. I can log in on their website through Steam, so I'm guessing it's something to do with that? I can change my password in there but it doesn't then let me log in with that stuff. I don't really want to make another account because this one already has games on it, is there a work around for this?

Yeah, I typically hate grinding (UnID took me months). With regular hunts and moderate rouletting, I finished the Umbrite section in 2 weeks. I found it pretty reasonable compared to many Relic/Anima steps. For some reason, email is case-sensitive on S-E Accounts so check that too.

Okay, figured it out, the account I registered and was using at eu.square-enix.com wasn't valid for this, and did not exist at account.square-enix.com, which just let me create an account under the same email address as the eu one. Strange.
