Any Australian/Melbourne goons here who've been to PCW shows? I just got tickets to my first on July 30th because Ricochet is appearing. Anyone know what the quality of PCW is like in general?

I've only attended one or two shows that were running out my way but they were solid albeit shows that were filler-ish in that they were obviously minor shows. At least you should be getting a sweet main event

Riddle (like Mitrione, who as far as I know has had nothing to do with pro wrestling) wasn't on Tough Enough, but he was on The Ultimate Fighter. Looks like I might be moving be to either Tennessee or Kentucky for a little while and I was wondering what good promotions are in the south? I know of a lot of Northeast & LA ones but not much else. How do you guys find out about promotions in certain areas / is there any sort of list by region? I generally just find out about them by wrestlers tweeting about their upcoming appearances, but its not the easiest

Chicago has a ton of Latino people and also is one of if not the smarkiest city in America.

They ran a larger venue than the legion hall for the last Kurt Russellreunion which was what... four years ago now? Obviously PWG is dramatically more popular now than back then, but the rumor I heard was that Super Dragon wasn't happy with how the atmosphere of the building came across on tape so they scrapped it and went back to Reseda.

Whatever gym that was that held BOLA 2008 was nice and big... but the acoustics bounced sound like crazy where you couldn't hear anything when someone was on the mic. The Legion is hot as hell but the acoustics are very good in person and on DVD.

Although considering how popular they have gotten lately maybe they would be able to fill the place. It's going to be a sad day though when they aren't doing the legion hall anymore.

The match ZSJ had to pull out of was against someone else, and the rebooking was against Cedric. I had a front row VIP ticket for that PWX show that went unused because I went to the CWF Mid-Atlantic show instead. I gave the ticket to CWF's booker during intermission and he pinned it to the board in the locker room and it got a big pop from the boys. I was happy with my choice since the CWF show was amazing and had two MOTYCs: Nick Richards vs The Kamakazi Kid Last Man Standing: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hxqabp7W2uk (ep also has a great match between Cedric and Darius Lockhart from another show) Trevor Lee vs Andrew Everett for CWF Mid-Atlantic Title: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NFiCScoESwE (still haven't watched the PWG show they wrestled, but I hear it was basically a dry run for this match) I really really love CWF Mid-Atlantic. They finally got local TV and apparently Grant finally figured out how to deinterlace his video so watching Worldwide on YouTube is way less painful. Still some audio issues in the Trevor / Andrew ep, though. Their summer tournament starts tonight and I'm so so excited to see Trevor Lee possibly murder the aged Boogie Woogie Man Rob McBride in the first round.
