Being a puzzle game enthusiast I'm genuinely curious why you think that. Tetris Attack is pretty fun.

i dunno why they do these things as a race and don't have them play against each other since the games are kinda made for 1v1 play, maybe it becomes a blowup unless you have evenly skilled players

It really isn't. About the only thing they have in common is being early FPS. Dark Forces had a more complex scripting engine and could allow rooms to be over rooms. So it was more like Build (Duke Nukem 3D's engine).

The green ball does contact damage, and then a second later there is an invisible cone that comes out from the player like a shotgun blast.

If you're serious, the ball that launches extends 40 rays from it when it explodes. Each ray does about 100 damage and enemies can be hit by multiple rays. These rays extend until they hit an enemy or a wall.

If you're not, it runs on ripping and tearing.

When the orb touches something a bunch of lasers shoot out of you at the angle you were looking when you fired the orb. The lasers come from you even if you move, but they don't rotate.

Just curious, when you talk about Paper Mario, are you talking about the original PM or the PM series in general?
