I've got seemingly infinite load times since the last patch. Tried with and without the beta f4se. No mod changes in the meantime, just the auto patch through steam.

I'm hoping the F4SE update magically fixes it. I'd just finished building a fully decorated mansion and private compound atop the overpass at Greygarden.

I think I found the most improbable mod ever: http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/16087/ This guy de-boobified the assualtron. That's right, a nexus mod that actually removes breasts from a vanilla asset.

Boobplates as armour just doesn't structurally work when smashed by a heavy force they'll split easily around the middle and chest crush the poor woman wearing them.

The reason the skyrim guy did it was this. He wanted it to be more realistic. Nexus users were enraged by the lack of boobs however.

Plus you wear padding under plate armor anyway, plus huge fantasy manly men have giant chests that are bigger than a woman's breasts. Mount & Blade does it best how they just use one armor mesh regardless of sex.

I think I'm going about building "settlements" a little backwards, compared to this guy https://www.reddit.com/r/falloutsettlements/comments/4rkj82/got_tired_of_living_in_a_shack/ quote:snap n build for the house , fort sanctuary for the lovely flat version of sanctuary , Northland trees and fauna for the greenery. (and various furniture mods/OCD for decorations, etc etc) Video of the build: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R5NN8E9O0k0 Otacon fucked around with this message at 12:49 on Jul 9, 2016 |

Since the patch I now have a settler reset glitch on steroids. It's not the cell reset glitch, as all my poo poo is fine, but at the Castle, 3 settlers and 1 Minuteman, basically only the people who were assigned to food production, keep resetting. And I don't mean they reset when I fast travel away and come back. I mean they reset if they leave the screen and come back. I tested by giving the white minuteman a new outfit to equip. I literally spun 360 degrees in place, and he turned into a black Minutewoman in a different outfit, which was noticeably not the minuteman outfit. And it only affects my food producers. All the named settlers (level 4 vendors), or the people on artillery (minutemen i equipped with the colonial duster instead of the minuteman outfit) are fine. It's just food guys.

Is there a particularly good/goon recommended mod that shows up your equipped weapon on your back or hip like in 3 and vegas? e] oh nvm, seems like maybe Armorsmith extended helps with that. e] Also is the unofficial patch just bugfixes? Like ones that allow you to create "fake" versions of the gun you want to holster and then you have to link them in order to holster them? Making it meaningless for any weapon that doesn't have a mod that adds a fake version of it (ie any vanilla weapons someone didn't bother with or any modded weapons) If so, wake me up when a "just works" mod is out that just loving holsters weapons like it was in fallout 3. Nothing pisses me off then taking poo poo out for no loving reason.

I have hope, however, that with the release of contraptions and the scripts to make the weapon on the display board appear with all the mods, that something could be done to accomplish the same thing, but I'm not a modder so I can't really say.

One of these days I'm going to learn GECK modding so that I can add true realism to Survival Mode - one time I had my character drink from the pump while I went to make my real self some food, and when I got back he was still pumping away and drinking. I'm going to make a mod such that whenever you drink from the pump for more than 30 seconds at a time, your character explodes

One of the realistic needs mods for FNV had penalties for overeating/drinking. If you drank to much water you crippled your head.
