It still kinda does, but now I want to play it just to experience this batshit story. The Blazer saga (SoulBlazer, Illusion of Gaia, Terranigma) are all pretty unexceptional action RPGs. I think most people remember them because they took much weirder, darker turns than other RPGs of their time, as well as being completely unapologetic about broadcasting their "nature vs. technology" theme load and clear.

Fun fact #1: Unlike Klaige said, PAL version of Shatterhand has the same "jacket guy" main character as the US version Fun fact #2: The Famicom version is a licensed game of a TV series Tokkyu Shirei Solbrain, where the main character is a cop who dons a powersuit! I have the Famicom version but I have never managed to play it through. A very good game, great soundtrack, but hard as hell.

Klaige opening for PJ is a pretty good combo Saw bits of the Bionic Commando stuff in the practice room, this will be fun (though not quite infinite yell fun because nothing really can top that)
