You'll find pretty much most RPG do the grinding DLC nowadays. FE, TMS, Tales... They're really not necessary though. You can easily get through if you just beat every enemy once, especially since experience is shared to everyone. If anything most stuff other than RB1 is too easy.

I'd rather RPG's that Add grinding DLC Also add superbosses with it. It would also give another incentive to use the extra levels you get from the DLC.

I wouldn't say Rebirth 1 had a dull translation and Rebirth 2 and 3 do go overboard with memes and jokes that are hit or miss but, yeah the retranslation for Rebirth 2 is dull as dishwater. I'd say Rebirth 1 and V-II have the best translations, since they inject just enough jokes and memes to spice the game up without it reaching obnoxious levels like Rebirth 2 and 3 could reach. But since the Neptunia games aren't really known for their gameplay out of V-II (which only manages to reach good, but not great gameplay) and the main appeal of them is anime fanservice, memes and gaming jokes then the Rebirth 2 retranslation is for you if you are a completely boring person.

If you look at the TLs for RB2 and 3 compared to mk2 and Victory, they're nearly identical, and the original PS3 TLs are the reason that the series is popular in the first place. IF Japan LOVED those translations.
