if you want to use keepass 2 across non windows OS you have to go the mono route, 1 has native clients for osx and linux and android

been using keep rear end 2 on linux with sshfs to an external server for syncing and its been fine but a native client and sftp support would have been nicer though i am a poor

I had zero issues with keepass2 on lunix, but now I'm trying to get my work onto a chomebook and while most things work the way I want to, keepass obviously doesn't. Does anyone know any password managers that work with chomeos without having to use developer mode? I'm gonna wait until there's support for android apps, the keepass app for that should work well enough, but if it doesn't I'm going to have to switch (or go back to lunix) I guess

ubuntu 16.04 now has a native (i think) keepassx that uses the version 2 database, and the program itself seems significantly less usable than 1.x

afiak 2.x provides nothing that 1.x doesn't already do better, literally all i want is a password manager with autotype that works on all my devices and 2.x fails at that
