And they should be putting neccromancer buildings in every province, both for money and research rate. Similar logic for vampire buildings, to get to both you'll need a rank four city, so use your minor towns for growth. Use multiple agents to lower construction cost to 0, and stack lots of of them in high base income provinces (like Drakenhof with its gold mine) to get accelerating returns.

How are you getting construction cost to 0? I thought the only thing that stacked was the income increase. I've tried the multiple agents and they just override each other.

The only one that actually looks like a wall though is for province capitals and those have walls no matter what.

Yes, it's true, an icon of a portcullis in no way implies the existence of some sort of fortification?

I mean we're talking about players who are new/oblivious enough that they haven't read and understood the tooltips for the minor settlement defensive chain, here, not rocket surgeons.

I have yet to see an ally chase down an enemy army and kill it. They follow for two turns until it's technically not inside the border and then go "welp, not my problem anymore"

Also why does every faction i confederate have an economy that would bring it to the top bottom of any failed state index?

I kinda really see it the other way. What's not obvious is not that lvl 1 Garrisons don't give walls, it's that lvl 2 Garrisons do. I mean, it's literally called 'City Watch'.

It's because of Background Income. Every faction gets something like 2500 money for free, which means determines how much of a military it develops. If two factions merge however, that money disappears but you still pay upkeep on the new armies. Add on the fact that additional generals grow your upkeep in percentage terms, and boom, you have a cashflow crisis.

This is why you use the custom icon mod! Also, they look great. Hope he keeps it up for other factions.

Also the AI gets a ton of economic bonuses that you do not. Bonuses that increase with difficulty.

If you look at their dlc roadmap page, they say they're doing both. Beastmen as a roving nuisance is pretty much the sum of their characterization, so I'm not miffed about this.

To be fair, until the DLC is up on the store we don't know what all is in it or what free stuff we'll get at the same time.

End of July is actually really inconvenient for me, I won't have nearly as much time to play it as I would if they released it anytime before then.

What the gently caress, you're right. Why aren't outriders less poo poo?

edit: I mean if they could fire off a full volley, or else have significantly lower time between shots than handgunners than maybe I'd use them.

I've got no doubt the DLC will be worth the asking price, it's just more of a philosophical thing. What about someone that wants to grab Total Warhammer before the release of Total Warhammer 2: Electric Boogaloo? Are there going to be a half-dozen DLCs they'll need to grab to be "content complete"? It just made more sense for Wood Elves, Beastmen, and Bretonnia to come as a single unit.

Looks like the faction Leader is Khazrak One Eye, ambush specialist.

From the source of the leak, here's some (unconfirmed) additional info:

quote:

Unfortunately I can't link the source because they remove the post (maybe someone publish before the Time), Like this trailer here, Bestmen is comming 28 july.

Together with them, we have 2 new FLC comming in 28 July, A new Lore of Magic and the new hero for Empire, Amber Mage.

Call of Beastmen details

You can play with them in Grand Campaging Map, Multiplayer and Custom Battle.

They're horde style

They can use a exclusive moviment type over the forests what can't be detacted.

There is a new Mini Campaing called An Eye for an Eye

Sorry, I'm not english native

So pretty much campaign pack confirmed. No indication of Wulfhart though, sadness.

Also Outriders are pretty cool in my book, they basically have equal DPS to a squad of handgunners with better positioning. I don't use them much outside of Gelt starts just because I'm lazy and ranged cav is micro intensive.

No, because they'll get a "complete pack" or whatever.

You can either get stuff as it comes in twelve different packs for a combined cost of like $180, or wait a few years and get the whole shebang in one click for the original $60 or less. Welcome to 2016 and/or Obama's America.

Eh, they have two huge expansions planned to cover that sort of thing. Releasing small DLC packs to keep up interests and revenue between big releases makes more sense for them than some kinda of DLC every 6-12 months system.
