it's weird to say they didn't want to invest that much time into the girl thing in swordcraft when your summons have tons of unique dialog based on your gender

yeah it doesn't change the basic structure of the game, but they put in some effort to change dialogue based on your gender/summon choice. like, you'll always see a conversation between your mom and your summon that touches on when they were your dad's partner, but it's pretty different between sugar and say, zantek or kutty.

I'm not saying it's bad but you have the exact same relationships with everybody, Pratty turns the brown tomboy into a woman and gets proposed to by bumming around her. It's obvious that they started with the limp dick guy script and when they rolled that out they put on their meme hats and really knuckled down to make some magic.
