Curdy Lemonstan posted:Lol that Cerda guy is of course a registered sex offender. Yeah and pretty much every photo on his Facebook is of him holding various concealable firearms. Are you allowed to have a concealable firearm if you are a convicted felon in Texas? If not, this guy is even twice as retarded because he brags about them on Facebook. Can this thread now be mostly of people posting about committing crimes on social media?

My parents call each other mom and dad within the context of speaking to me. Is that unusual? I don't call them by their proper names when I'm talking to them either. It really depends on context. The great thing about the written word, especially in the short little snippets we get in social media, is that there's often no context, and certainly no social, bodily or facial cues.

The great thing about the written word, especially in the short little snippets we get in social media, is that there's often no context, and certainly no social, bodily or facial cues. This is normal. Does your mom post "here's me and dad at our favorite lunch spot" on Facebook when the pic is with your dad and not her dad? That's odd. And way different than what your parents do. Unless your mom posted it on you or your sibling's wall/messages.
