SynthOrange posted:Mark Trail has taken Show, Dont Tell and turned it into Show and Tell, or Show that Butt To be fair, Show and Tell is still a bit of a step up from Provide a Loose Approximation via Clip Art and Tell, and given some of the... interesting... artistic samples Jam Esallen has provided us over the past half a year I can't really blame him for not being confident in his visuals' ability to carry the story. That being said, seriously, that five inch bird is as big as her loving face. SomeMathGuy fucked around with this message at 06:38 on Jul 20, 2016 |

Most of the time Dick Tracy is boring. But every now and then, a few times a storyline if we're lucky, it goes balls to the loving walls.

The main difference for me is I wish it had the direct link to the image with the file extension, because it makes posting here faster the way I have been doing it. treasureplane posted:King Aroo (June 27, 1951) F Minus Mary Worth "This is great! I don't know why I ever quit drugs!" Rex Morgan MD This should come as no surprise. The mob has long been involved in the museum gift shop book racket. Secret Agent X-9 This strip is really like a 1930s CSI. I never thought of it that way before but a lot of this is just showing what was cutting edge tech and how it is used in crimefighting back then. I may just be thinking about this because I watched an old movie from the 50s last night about the FBI and it was pretty much the same type of stuff. "Wow! Look at that camera that's only the size of a pack of cigarettes and takes up to 10 pictures!" Apartment 3-G I seriously wish I knew more about what is going on here. I feel like there's a lot of backstory we just don't have about all these characters.

Tiggum posted:Have those two even so much as spent a night together? I feel like Luann and Quill kissing with the lights off in the prop closet was going further than Bwad and Toni ever have. I don't think they've ever shown or implied it directly, but they also haven't had the characters themselves be weird Brooke-ish puritans about it (and they've stopped having the parents spend so much time obsessing about their adult son's sex life). They also spent a long time having the two leeringly imply that things would, could, or might be happening at some point. I think overall they've just stopped addressing it and readers are free to assume that they're having a normal 21st century adult relationship if they want, without being explicitly forced to thing about Brad loving, for which I for one am grateful.
