So hypothetically, you could build drat near like a Fire Pro like roster. 2k16 is pretty bad about corrupting save files in the base game and trying to mod it is supposed to make it worse. That's why they tell you make backup saves every time a mod works because the next time you try might mess up your save. The backup didn't help me last time, though

So, WWE 2k16 always crashes at the splash screen after one of the updates if you have added pac files to folders that aren't supposed to be there. The good news is there's a fix that should allow mods to work. First, you have to disable Hide File Extensions. Then find the chunk_cache.bin file in the main game folder and remove it. Next you want to right-click in the same folder and choose New then Text Document and then rename the text document to chunk_cache.bin. It should load past the splash screen after that, but it takes much longer than it used to. e: got this to work using an AJ Styles mod but his name is Royal Rumble '01, lol. I hope I can edit that. e2: oh, derp, it's because I didn't install Future Proof String first. Doing this with Cheat Engine really isn't that hard if you make sure you have Pozzum's memory table for reference. Playing as NJPW is a lot of fun in TEW. Just trying to book awesome matches and not have to worry about juggling promos is a nice change of pace for me, since I usually play WWE. Signed Prince Devitt and Cesaro from WWE, looking forward to getting them into the mix. I also signed Máscara Dorada and whatever Mistico calls himself these days. So, I try to install a new wrestler in 2k16. Say, Alberto Del Dildo. I have his pofo file, move set, and various pac files I got separately. I use the data program to load the pofo file. And then use it to go to the custom characters program. I select the pofo, move set, and all of the pacs. I inject it int the game. Character is selectable in the matchup screen. Game never loads. Wtf. Is there somebody on here with a super save I can copy & paste? lo

If that doesn't work, use a hex editor like HxD and search for XXX (case sensitive) and change it to YYY (also case sensitive)in the pac file. e: I'm also not sure how the data editor works since I'm using cheat engine, but some of the mods default slots are different than they are on Pozzum's table which uses future proof string and I have to change the EMD to match it. Base character id's always end with 02 but I haven't gotten to figuring out extra attires yet. The lines should look something like this: EMD........0004 6702....čĎ..... That's character id 467 If you wanted to change that from 467 to a character id of 209 you would change it to: EMD........0002 0902....čĎ..... They are and nothing has been added since 2K14 same create an arena parts and the same CAS since the superstar heads were introduced. In fact since '13 they added 2/3 hairstyles. I'm not a massive gamer but I'm going to upgrade to a PS4 in the few months before it's released. I think last gen create a wrestler stuff is much better than current gen stuff. current gen gives you just the same parts as what the real wrestlers wear and the face importing and morphing stuff just does not work properly.

Body and face morphing drives me crazy on new gen, much easier to get what I want on last. There's no way change limb or neck length for instance, making it very poor at getting bodies right as compared to the old way of doing things. Game plays way better though, so going back is not really a good option.

In my 2013 game I couldn't stay National to save my life after 3 years. In the my current game I'm a little over a year in and am probably about 2 months away from going international. It's almost too easy. Freestyle angles are great too, especially for people who kinda just bullet point their shows (aka most people). I love seeing each worker's individual rating for matches, even though you can probably guess what their numbers are most of the time. Have your new guys go from 0-30 Pop (in a National Fed) inside of 5-6 shows is super sweet. My least favorite part is the 'match rating capped at base 80 unless it's at least 20 minutes long.' Leads to me having to put multiple 20 minute matches every Raw and PPV. Makes me wonder what the point of all-out matches and 'steal the show' is. The backstage stuff is amusing, but meddling has been so fruitless/counterproductive for me that I don't dare use it anymore. I recalled a designer's note saying that in an entertainment product there would be mechanics in place to assure that you wouldn't just shove all the indie darlings onto your roster. I haven't seen this. At all. It seems to be exactly the same as TEW 2013. I'm probably going to suggest a more in-depth scouting report for a future TEW. The way it currently works is both irritating (having to change a bunch of workers' pushes around to see all the scouting reports for your hot prospects) and somewhat uninformative. (A worker's potential performance report only covers their Performance caps, not their In-Ring caps. So you have Mabel getting a "Fantastic Worker' report while his highest in-ring skills are in the low 60's and seem to have plateaued).
