It's time for some education. I welcome you to Danish food 101. Lesson 1: Kagemand! KageMand/Dame (CakeMan/Lady), is basically the standard childrens' birthday cake in Denmark. It's bland pastry covered in frosting and candy. They are supposed to look like people, primarily the birthday boy/girl. When you cut it everyone screams as if the joyful pastry person (I remind you that sometimes it is made to look like the birthday child) is in terrible agony.
