He called it our "number one geopolitical foe" which is comical in light of American geopolitical dominance. Russia is weak state compared to the US, with many interests that are parallel to American interests. It's still capable of being lovely and doing lovely things though. I'm sure Ukraine would've appreciated a heads-up from Romney about the whole Crimea thing in 2012.

Truly the best time-line. Her approval rating doubled because people are sexist and think "Oh the poor dumb lady got taken advantage of and then mocked." A man who did the same thing would see his rating go down.

It is amazing that Hillary and DWS could do all this crazy house of cards poo poo and keep it all covered up for 20 years only to have it all exposed by crappy email servers. Old people not understanding technology is so interesting. Do you think things have played out similarly throughout history to usher in a new era. Like every time the old people manage to secure power and disregard the plebs some new technological or cultural revolution comes along and utterly destroys the previous rulers source of power.

One of my best friends actually made the NRCC printer thing (was unengaged/liberal but his uncle is a known sitting GOP politician): He's a goon too, and enjoyed the antics but they made him make a blacklist for certain words (which he was updating by the minute whilst watching weird twitter haha). He says he knows a lot of Republican operatives who are voting Hillary, tho I suppose they'd skew younger.

Xandu posted:If Trump wins, Republicans will likely end up with supermajority. It's basically impossible for the Republicans to get 60 Senate seats this year, even if Trump wins. I doubt McConnell would remove the filibuster. More convenient for him to use it to reign in Trump while pushing through all the judicial nominations they want and hope for better luck in 2018.
