My name is a common word that's misspelled and not typically a name. No personalised novelty named items for me. Other than that it hasn't really effected my life or employment (well as far as I know). I do have to constantly spell it out. Occasionally people also just seem to rename me because they mishear and apply the closest 'real' name to what they heard or just being confused. I don't even correct them it's not worth the hassle. It used to be tedious to go through the whole 'oh I've never heard that name before' every time I met someone new or people constantly mispronouncing it.

My brother went to school with a kid called Phelim Young. Phelim is a fairly uncommon but still real name here in Ireland, but calling your child "Feel 'em young" is still a pretty bad idea. edit: Forgot this was the IOSM thread. SO lacking in even have SOULS. NOW imagine dealing with that every night when you got home from work. MEN never do that. Almost never. At a place of business, 99% of the time men are helpful, go out of their way to help everyone, have infinitely better people skills. The difference between men and women in places of business is LIKE NIGHT AND DAY. And I'm dealing with them all day long at countless businesses. If anyone would know, it's me. Customer service departments where the cunts are being monitored is different, they're FORCED to be halfway human and talk to people with halfway respect (which I'm sure kills them-lol) Women for the most part just horrible, horrible people because they were raised by a piece of poo poo single mother by choice (a father in the home gets in the way of being a WHORE) and never even taught how to even talk, much less any basic people skills. Never held accountable for rude behavior and a blank check to treat everyone around them like poo poo, being as spiteful as possible. Just spiteful walking piles of poo poo with arms and legs. Subhuman trash that doesn't belong within 100 miles of a place of business. Or within 100 miles of children, a home with a husband or anywhere else except in the trash and back to Hell where they crawled up from.
