There was a similarly cringey company that did some comic book/video game play center hybrid in a strip mall when I was in college. Being nerdy I checked it out on my way to the liquor store (it was literally right next to it and the movie theater, which was actually pretty clutch tbh). I can't tell you what's bad about 3D other than the graphical style (it just doesn't look very good at all imo), but maybe someone else can fill us in on any other problems Cave Story 3D has.
