Ep. 4 is airing tomorrow. I've been working post on it and while it's not exactly high art, it's interesting watching these dudes at their respective points in their career. Birdman's still hustling, bringing up new talents out of Miami (his new guy Jacquees looks and sounds like a Wayne R&B clone), Jermaine Dupri's still grinding in ATL, this episode he meets up with Phresh Ali and is trying to get a collab going. Dame Dash is still trying to rebuild his brand, and Snoop's... Snoop has the whole game on lock it seems. Dude is on another level, it's pretty cool seeing him bringing up young dudes out of Long Beach and putting them on, and just his interactions with his kids. Snoop as a dad (and grandpa) is definitely the best part of the show. It's only 8 episodes so it's half-way through it's run. There's a couple of cool guests coming up in the show too (Bun B drops in, and I'm pretty sure Daz is in a few Snoop scenes), if you guys are looking for something to watch Tuesday nights, check it out. Been listening to this Gucci record all week and it's pretty decent but nowhere near his best work. He's pretty content to lazily drawl over these beats and that is fun in itself but hard to listen to for 15 songs. My favourite Gucci is when he just attacks the mic and has a lot of energy. I've been listening to songs like Kill the Parking Lot and All About the Money a lot recently just to enjoy Gucci bringing the noise.

I agree. He doesn't have energy on every track and there's a difference when he takes that low slow tone and kills a track like Underarm Kush and when he's just lazy droning on a track like some on this album.

Im happy a lot of people's fav rapper is out of jail but that album is pretty mediocre. That anyone would even think to say it's top 5 in this year is a nut. It has parts that are really fun but dude is rapping slow. Plodding. One song i forget which but it's just the same line over and over. the how you gonna let a n in the feds thing. It's a fun line but not for 16 bars. SS3 was better. Gangsta poo poo by itself was better. Better than views tho.
