1500quidporsche posted:The curbs at Austria were actually a good solution since you rightfully destroyed your car going over it. This phony policing they were trying where you get a penalty for exceeding is stupid though. Destroying the suspension for exceeding track limits is a trick that only works once though. I guarantee you all of the teams are looking at the harmonics and vibrations produced by those curbs and will design future suspensions to withstand it. You can't engineer your way around a time deletion. The real problem is with the consistency with which the rule is applied. MustardFacial fucked around with this message at 19:54 on Jul 28, 2016 |

What is happening here?! Wet standing starts are coming back and it could happen at the next race. They also agreed that you can't change tires during red flags (thank god). http://www.motorsport.com/f1/news/formula-1-agrees-on-wet-standing-starts-803112/

So I speak bad german and Italian, because it's a thing that I do. I like to have the youtube English subtitles up because they are on occasion really chuffing funny. Anyone want to take a wild guess as to what "his children or the offender" really translates to. Answer Niki Lauder e: who will now be known as "kinder oder der" in our house because the German subtitles got it wrong as well learnincurve fucked around with this message at 22:29 on Jul 28, 2016 |

So, entirely related to the above post Toto has been on German TV slagging off Marchionne. He's saying "although Ferrari is a very unique structure with an enormous amount of pressure being put on in Italy, with high expectations following on from the jump in performance from 2014 to 2015... to do everything right , the thing is you can not, can not dictate acceleration, you need the time factor, and a team which is set up correctly. They (ferrari) judged 2016 badly but are still to be taken seriously just like red bull"

Is it fair on all teams to lift the ban? What if some teams spent more time simplifting processes and settings on the car/steering wheel or made a clearer HUD for their drivers. The rule went to far in recent races but I feel like this only started to become a big issue when it effected Lewis in Baku and the British media started crying. Can we ban the Merc power unit next? That would be good for the show too.

It simply boils down to this. Hearing drivers on the radio is awesome. Only problem was that we got to hear just how much driver coaching was going on for simple poo poo they should know and the FIA over reacted. It's Bernie 101 "I want [2] the other person wants [1] so I'm going to make it [3] so they come crawling back for a compromise and we end up at [2].

These are all fraud interpretations of the Motorsports Triple crown: You need to win the Monaco GP, Indy 500, 24 hours of lemans. And only Graham "Phil" "Damon" Hill could pull it off. Rossi is well on his way before his f1 career has really started, or his 25th birthday.

Seb just tried very hard not to hint that Allison was forced out. Nico "it's very interesting to see how Lewis has suddenly become so interested in safety" *sky cuts to Lewis still salty about the yellow flag thing. Max just called kimi a Sunday driver. GUT does not like the way Lewis holds himself, and is concerned that there are children watching his jolly poor form. learnincurve fucked around with this message at 08:41 on Jul 29, 2016 |
