Do gold diggers eat these things? Cause it would explain her lounging around the apartment all day drinking.

Right, I'm not American or anything and don't really follow American politics, but Trump's the favourite to win, isn't he? I could be completely wrong but I have heard that loads of the Democrats are refusing to vote for Clinton because they wanted the other guy to win.

It's all very confusing.

Do you watch South Park? Watch the episode where Stan has to choose between voting for a Giant Douche or a Turd Sandwich.

Yes, I have seen that one. I suppose my problem is that I have a pretty wishy-washy view about politics. I vote in all every election and try to stay informed about local issues but that's about the extent of my involvement; I'm not in any party or anything.

Anyway, I'm afraid I don't have any funny panels to share so I'll just bow out for the time being.

You'd think there would be more to this, but no. It is exactly as it is described.

From Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, Diamond is Unbreakable.

It's a dead heat right now, which is loving terrifying because Donald Trump is the worst person to run for public office since Hitler. My fundamental belief in humanity not being completely hosed tells me he will never be president, but Jesus gently caress is he terrifying .

And if you hadn't said it was from Jojo, I might have thought it was unusual. That series really earns the Bizarre part of its name.

If someone says it one more time I'm having Florina show up as a corpse. I'm not even kidding, I was pissed off with people doing that shit back in 2010, and I'm not dealing with it now in 2016.

I really do not envy the position you Americans are in, then again, Aus is currently under the control of a caretaker government because we couldn't trust either of our parties. So hey, maybe your system will break itself enough that you'll be able to flush the poo poo from your system.

It would be super cool if the funny panels from comic books thread could be a refuge from the political hellscape and not a bunch of text posts about Trump so maybe we could just limit political commentary to posting panels?

Like we get that all the headlines right now basically look like this one from Hawkeye #2:

Would you be my new best friends?

Another one from the JLA Rock of Ages storyline that suddenly just popped into my head. Batman has been pretending to be DeSaad for years while biding his time to strike at Darkseid. He leads the other Justice Leaguers to try and help them escape the alternate future reality they're trapped in when they run into Metron who casually informs them there is no escape. Batman chides Metron for being a God of Knowledge missing one vital component of information - as a New God he has never known what it is to be mortal, to truly understand what it means to be - for want of a better term - human. So Metron allows himself to feel physical form:
