If Lod goes for the Wit's End Kog build NV is going to lose once P1 starts building MR.

I mean, yeah, it should be, along with MR items by all of the other members, but then pros sometimes have curious build choices.

TSM picked probably the strongest comp I've seen on this patch, just the endless speed boost the Hecarim team composition.

Bjergsen 43 KDA on Zilean across 6 games

I don't think most pro mids can play Zilean well but he opens up so many dumb (in a good way) compositions like the two we saw from TSM. Bjergsen loving roasted people on it in this series.

jfc. There is way too much loving money involved for lawyers to not be involved every step of the way. Monte is a goober and deserves whatever misfortune comes his way, but requesting the presence of a lawyer when its incredibly obvious that you are in the middle of an inquisition is step 1 for anyone even moderately intelligent.

Liquid v C9 on Sunday is probably the most important game of the split imo.

The difference between facing NV -> Immortals, and CLG -> TSM is huge.

I mean I guess theoretically c9 could drop to Echo Fox or Liquid to Apex but it seems really unlikely, and in that situation I don't think it matters how the other games play out.

NV are still gonna limp into playoffs and get decimated, im guessing. pretty weird to watch a team with 3 koreans have "protect the NA player" as their one good strategy but i guess thats what happens when you dont have scripts.

whoever gets 3rd gets a free tune-up series against apex or nv before facing immortals.

It actually gets sort of complicated depending on exactly how the Saturday matches go. If TL wins then there could (probably will) be a 3 way tie for 3rd so every game is going to matter since the game percentages are absurdly close. If CLG, C9, and TL all 2-0 their other matches, TL can't even drop a game to C9 without losing out on 3rd seed.

is the 1st tiebreaker games won instead of record against? I must admit a brief bit of ignorance about it.

i thought it was direct head to head.

not to go overly try hard, but i think a point system would work best with best of 3. a point for each game you win within a series, and an extra point if you sweep. you should get something for 2-0'ing folks.

Head to head is the first tiebreaker; however, the case that I described would be a 3 way tie. At that point no team has the head to head against all of the others so it goes to game win percent.
