I was a little confused by Trunks' reaction to the 18 thing. It may have just been my translation, but it did the pink fuzzy family shot and said "Android 18 is..." Then he made his excuse to run check on his mother. Was his PTSD kicking in, or did he suddenly fall for 18?

And seeing Gohan having a family or 18 not being killbot 18 makes the guy kind of hopeful you can change things. He wants to go home fix his timeline and relax for once

I liked this week's episode. Goku fighting the Space Racist was cool. Trunks being a undersocialized child soldier is always interesting. The Krillin/18 scene was good, as mentioned, but I liked him just sort of staring at the Pilaf Gang's skit in shock and confusion. Excited to see the return of Angry Trainer Vegeta next week.

How the universe is actually supposed to function is one of my favorite things about dragon ball. So let me get this straight; Supreme Kai is supposed to be defending the living people of the universe? From what? How can you defend a universe you aren't allowed to interact with? Wasn't Frieza a threat to the natural order of things; going around blowing up planets and poo poo? And furthermore if the Kai's are supposed to be defending the mortals of the universe what exactly is the role of an earth guardian and why is it that we keep picking people who are totally unqualified for the job? (Sorry Dende) No matter how you look at it someone somewhere is falling down completely on the job in order to allow any of the major DB plots to happen.

Freeza only destroyed a few planets, it wasnt like hwas going on rampages destroying planets. Even Vegeta destroyed planets Planet Destroying doesn't seem to be that uncommon

Fair enough. I didn't see any Kai's standing in front of Majin Buu when he was ripping the whole universe a new one though.
