Sometimes guinea pigs get real fussy when you try to clip their nails. So you have to give em the ol' burrito wrap-up  Blade is normally okay with the process but this morning she was too excited for breakfast.

It's true that they have impeccable internal clocks and know just when they should be fed.

Yesterday we went for a walk down by the riverside near our apartment and he explored a decommissioned wool bale elevator for at least half an hour.  And a bit of mid-meow sass

Another one of Pickle that I took yesterday: I got this cat when she was 9 weeks old and I was dealing with some pretty bad depression, and she has been the sweetest, most affectionate cat from day one. She's three and a half now and I couldn't ask for a better cat. Also look at those beans
