I know you can chain hidden pokemon using the nav thingy and that it will show up their ability if they have it, but you have to encounter loads.
Someone said that hordes would have pokemon with HAs in, but how do you see which is worthwhile?

Dexnav is great for finding HA in ORAS. It can tell you in advance if the target has the HA.

For finding desired abilities in hordes, you can do a few things. I was looking for truant, so I just watched for the popup in battle, and observed which durant didn't move.

You could also use a move that changes ability, like Worry Seed, because the natural ability will show for a second before changing to the inflicted ability.

These days, yeah. They seem to be consciously sticking to the four move limit and just quietly dropping old moves when convenient. Now if only any of the move sets were at all halfway decent.
