Good exploration ? just 3rd person as far as I've been able to tell because the combat is pretty reliant on seeing your whole ship, it's essentially black flag combat with broadsides and you can also have turrets and various missile launchers and whatnot. The exploration is fantastic if you're into space because it's gorgeous, it's fixed to a 2D plane so there is no z axis to flying but it's still an absolutely massive world I've not even left the first system yet and I've sunk 15 hours in so far
