Can't speak for PS2 but Imgburn has worked well for PSX Sega CD and Dreamcast for me so far. You'll need a plugin for Dreamcast ISOs to work. E: gently caress. Media. I don't know if that matters anymore. I'm using Memorex CDRs for stuff and just burn at 1x speed and it's fine. lo carb Lo Pan fucked around with this message at 00:07 on Aug 12, 2016 |

Software-wise ImgBurn is definitely the way to go, although burner/media is a bit more difficult to answer reliably. Generally burner shouldn't matter outside of some extreme "overburn" edge cases perhaps, media just find something that works and hang onto your ISO's or whatever in case you have to make a fresh copy later on down the road.

I was just playing Magical Drop on my Everdrive GB and noticed that you can PRINT the high score table. That's cool, for what it's worth!

Ugh, my Everdrive 8 came in today for the NES and it giving me the drat blinking light when I try it. Which is weird, since the Dragon Warrior copy I tried last week worked just fine. This unit had a Pin 72 replaced a while back so it shouldn't be the trouble. [edit] Just tried the Dragon Warrior copy and it started up immediately when I put it in, while the Everdrive is giving me a blinking light. Weird since this is one from Stonegamer, so it actually a legit Everdrive. Rirse fucked around with this message at 21:35 on Aug 11, 2016 |

Actually, replacing the 72 pin connector may exactly be the problem. The original is fine, you just boil it and it should settle in good.

About 20 years ago I had a game guide that covered Zelda 1 and 2 and A Link to the Past (it might have had a section for Link's Awakening too but I can't recall clearly.) For the life of me I cannot find it no matter what words I throw into Google. I have an irrational urge to find that book immediately and read it again but I can't find it Can someone please help me find it?

OK looking into it more there was: that demo version with three stages a full version with 40 stages i think? user-submitted stages for it on other discs and then now they sell a collected version with the 40 stages + 200 user stages buuuuut they sell it here http://www.amusement-center.com/en/project/egg/cgi/ecatalog-detail.cgi?contcode=7&product_id=778 This seems to imply it's a monthly sub and requires a launcher that is limited to one PC at a time. What the hell?
