That Meg & Mogg comic is well-written in that it elicits the intended response in me (intense disgust/unsettlement) but also I would be happy if I never saw one again They very obviously come from real, hosed up experiences with actual abusive, self-destructive people and I know a girl who was the owl in that situation and is still hosed up from it

Other than the creepy bestiality the biggest problem with the comic was that nothing about the premise made sense. It was about dogs that could talk but everyone just treated them like dogs.

I wish I could just read the tweets but unfortunately the comics come first and it's hard for me to just pass over them without reading at least part of them involuntarily. Any joke that works entirely in text really doesn't need to have images added. That's basically the thing all the other artists make fun of Buckley for doing.
