I loved the winner's circle situation. Justin Marks almost in tears in his interview with no one else around in a 30' tent, with a very sparse crowd of people when they panned around afterwards. edit: My wife, non-race-fan, during the race: "Why are they racing in the rain if everyone just spins out the whole time?" Always liked the Heat games; the driving model was a great balance between arcade and realism, so that they were actually playable without a wheel and pedals but you still had to put some work into tuning your car's handling in order to be fast, and Dirt to Daytona had an awesome career mode. Only thing they really lacked was the quantity of licensed tracks and drivers, and that's not the case now. Sounds like Evolution's career will be pretty similar to DtD as well, just without the other series, so it sounds promising.

Bowman always had a rowdy reputation but here lately it's more caricature than race. That reality show they had on it really didn't help, I think. It really made the fan base push for drama and crashes.
