i'm sure the company that is seeing quarter-over-quarter declines in their major sales categories (phones, tablets, accessories) is probably not going to hold onto the most profitable company title for long

but maybe the donglephone 7 will turn it around for them

idk if this has been posted about but iphones do this thing where if it decides your passcode is too easy to guess, it forces you to change it.

passcodes that can trigger this include:

1234
0000, 1111, 2222, etc
1930, 1931, 1932 , .... 2015, 2016
and many more!

and how it works is randomly, one day you go to use your phone and this terrifying message appears:

i thought it looked like malware but its legit

maybe it's because the pin code is or is close to your year of birth or the birth of someone in your address book?

I use an alphanumeric unlock code for my phone, suck it FBI

it's a good idea but it should maybe tell you why it's making you change your password. and it should do this in a way that does not look like crude malware

I think it's just if you have any year from 1930-2016, because people kept putting their birth year or their kid's birth year or the current year or whatever, it made it easy for attackers to brute force the phones

after 60 minutes you will be required to change at your next unlocking. the hour is just to avoid the "gently caress you, you're doing it now" situation.
