Yea, used to be the fact that our state government is relatively small and doesn't provide much services kinda kept the insanity of our elected officials in check. Like, sure the driver is drunk but he's in a small car that can't go fast so he's not gonna hurt too many people when he crashes. At this point, though, the driver is so drunk that it can't avoid hurting people.
