Art as in wall art? I think a lot of the post modernist movement is from the US? But I am not much of a fan myself. I like the old Northern Renaissance pictures myself. Breughal the Elder and hieronymous bosch.

Music? Again despite the systems being in place in the USA there seems to be a few more classic bands from the UK, but again a lot is from the US.

Fair enough. Did the research grants stop recently for any particular reason, or is it now all private companies more than Universities?

The reason is that the committees on science in Congress have been stuffed with some of the dumbest motherfuckers in Congress for at least thirty-six years now, as it's a low-prestige committee which doesn't get you the big campaign donations of, say, finance. Hand them a paper on the mating dynamics of an endangered species of rodents in the Southwest and they'll call for cuts to science funding since obviously scientists don't have anything better to do than watch rats gently caress and really what's that going to do for us?

It's kind of like a round, stubby french fry? You can eat them by themselves or use them to make tater tot casserole. Do you have something like that over there but maybe you call them something different? If you haven't had one you should try one if you get a chance.

Where are you from? It's sort of like a potato croquet. But not. First, you shred potatoes into small, 1/8 inch squares. Then you force the scares into a cylinder about 1 inch long, 3/8 inch around. Then deep fry it.

edit: Croquet's have a center more or less made from mashed potatoes. Not so fo tater tots.

I guess "cold" is subjective.

My girlfriend and I are so white we look like we fell asleep in a bleach factory and we keep things 70 degrees (Fahrenheit, God's temperature scale). I consider anything below 60 to be cold.

I think they're alike, but not really the same. You eat tater tots like french fries, unless you put them into a recipe like in tater tot casserole.

Non-Kraft non-Velveeta American cheese is actually pretty good. I mean, it's bland, but as it's primarily intended as a condiment that's perfectly acceptable; it's basically just a Colby/Cheddar blend.
