Say WHAT?! You KNOW that post is wack, homie!
I mean, the reason they're getting up off the ground on that page is because Black Canary was so turned on by Batman beating up some thugs that she just had to have sex with him right then and there:

"We keep our masks on" is such a laughable line that this page belongs in the thread too

In "Watchmen", Dan Dreiberg couldn't get it up until he and Laurie were all costumed up.

We don't need to have that dialogue because it's obvious, trivial, and has already been had a thousand times.
Are the goons supposed to be dead? Is he killing them? Because if they're burning heaps, maybe do something about that?

Yes, but that was a metaphor for how powerless and weak Dan feels in his civilian garb. That actually works as a character trait. In ASBAR, it just comes off as Miller writing bad porn.

And Dan's lack of confidence and impotence were explored as character beats prior to it. This is literally "you're so hot I want to bang you" on the level of a porno with delusions of grandeur. The more I read it through SomeJazzyRat's interpretation the funnier it becomes.

I'd like to point out that up until the final panel, BC is hiding behind a box and Bats has little to no real clue who she is or what she's doing back there. So I guess she just jumps out and pulls down his pants or something?

Well, yeah. If I was hiding behind crates and some lunatic shows up and wastes a bunch of dockworkers with guns, I want to make sure all my actions are interpreted as friendly.

Transformers vs GIJOE doesnt always make sense, being drawn / written by Tom Scioli in often non-linear unboxed fashion like a demented schoolkid. Also apparently they gave him all the toys in a giant box as reference material instead of comics or the shows?

It's better. They had all the history and storylines and then decided to ignore most of it in favour of looking at the toys and trying to work out what they mean. Then referencing poo poo that is from the regular continuity all over the place on top of that.

Then they wrote it as a sort of stream of consciousness thing.

Scioli specifically says that he treated the whole thing as a comic adaptation of a movie. Like with other adaptations, due to space constraints, he had to cut out all the fluff, aka anything that wasn't action.
