About that Tim Heidecker tweet I posted earlier in the thread: https://twitter.com/timheidecker/status/769268304452083712 There is apparently more story behind it. On reddit, an r/the_donald mod got mad that Tim is against Trump and took down r/Timanderic Tim responded by making the song in that tweet, and has since been making posts taunting alt-right trolls.

http://www.mediaite.com/tv/politifact-writer-debunks-lies-about-hillary-then-declares-both-sides-are-egregious/ Here's a fun example of horserace bullshit. A Politifact writer shows up on the news and talks about some Trump talking points that they debunk are bullshit and then talks about a Clinton attack on Trump that they rate as mostly true. The conclusion? Both sides are just as bad!

Also this CSA supporting canuck can gently caress off back to Canada. I do think the problem is that guys like Jello, and a few others were so clearly not in that camp that it does through you through a loop But going back to Gavin, I don't see this punk rock guy or anarchist that he's trying to portray himself as. I see a tool. A real "punk rock anarcist" wouldn't give a poo poo if someone was transgendered or a women were to seek some sort of career. Now they may call out the latter for being a "comformist", but I imagine they would say the same thing about a man. Why should he, if he's all about Freedom and all that other things he claim to champion, care about what someone does in the realm of gender identity? I can understand being "weirded" out by it, sure, but I don't understand going out of your way to dress said person down, and then claim they're who they are. I mean he goes out of his way to describe transgender people, their sexual organs, and all of this other crap. What does he seek these people out? Does he jack it to videos on the internet? Like only someone that is really interested in that stuff would look up the ins and outs of that sort of thing. Thus it makes him come across as even more of a creep. But yeah, he's not for freedom, he's pretty much on the side of the Nazi punks he supposedly despises. FuzzySkinner fucked around with this message at 22:31 on Aug 27, 2016 |

The comic is all over the place morally with one character using non-passive resistance to defeat an army and another that eats children to gain magical power and everyone looks the other way because they need her. The Israel thing was the only time there was a blatant call out which is why is sticks out so much. It feels like he read something in the news that pissed him off and he couldn't help but cram it in. Actually, it was implied that the child-eater had moved on and instead of eating living babies drew all magic power from the ritual sacrifice of the unborn as performed in "abortions". It was just comparatively subtle, compared to the WOW ISRAEL COOL scene.

I have honestly been wondering if the reason I dislike anime is because I'm somehow a chauvinist, because I have not seen a single one, not movie, not series I can say I liked. The closest to that would have been the Wind Also Rises, which was pretty much non-fiction to begin with. Hell, the only one I've seen whose character design I didn't loathe was JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, because all characters were drawn grotesquely, and even then I thought it was aggressively mediocre.
