According to their reading, the first game does follow the conventions of a Greek tragedy, despite it's rote packaging as an action romp, and it is only in the second game that things go off the rails. There's a reason that Greek myths don't have sequels, because as morality plays, making a sequel kind of defeats the original story's purpose, which is exactly what God of War 2 and 3 do to the first game.

Phelan just posted another segment in his real-life found-footage movie where he and his sister explore abandoned poo poo until they're killed by an insane hobo or drug dealers. It's way more tense than any film though because Phelan Sister is still wearing sandals while pointing out a rusty sawblade. They joke about people thinking that she's Allison, so this was filmed after the last one and I assume she's just doing it to freak people out, which seriously I am freaking out. Realchat: in the US the Parks Service used old busses outfitted with beds and wood stoves as seasonal shelters for surveyors and others who were out in the woods for weeks/months in the 60s-80s and just left them afterward for hikers to use. Some for sure got taken over by hermits and hippies as homes until the winters eventually killed them. Did Canada do the same? The weird thing is the Ontario plates. IIRC, Phelous is in Newfoundland so that bus traveled a fair way before being abandoned. I still remember living up in Northwest Ontario where we had a strange landmark of an abandoned car off one of the highways. The body was from the '40s or 50s' and half sunken into the mud. Everything had been stripped from it including the doors and hood (except weirdly the headlights were still intact.) Really wish I still had pictures of it. A better camera, microphone, and some editing would go a -huge- way. Don't get me wrong I still love his videos even if they're always pretty much over an hour. The very start of this video, once again the editing is awful. He's talking to the camera and a fade in to gameplay does a really poor transition and the volume goes up significantly too.
