My first CS game is GO so I'm not qualified to say much but I really hate that when I'm doing poorly I can always grab an MP9/Mac10 and just jump shot people around corners. Running AK shots still confuse me and don't feel right either but I don't know enough about the series to comment too much on it.

It becomes less of a problem as people get better and they can reliably headshot you with their AK if you try stuff like that. But yeah it sucks that a bad player can just play Call of Duty with a P90 and do ok against average players.

I guess buying the other SMGs is similar but at least I get to practice movement with those. I want to improve and learn proper Counter-Strike but I don't want to learn too many gimmicks that could (in theory) be patched out later. Edit: It sucks hearing that the entire pro scene has been available to help Valve improve the game but hasn't gotten the chance. Most of the time I ignore that sort of effort because I don't have faith in most communities but we're dealing with Valve and one of the oldest yet most current shooters out there. I have thought about trying to use the mp7 less and less, but I am really really good with it, and it lets me buy others on my team ak's / m4's who might not have enough money and are good with those guns. Sure that is a dumb theory, and I have been working on my ak spray, but I have used the mp7 so long (2500+ kills statrack) I don't think I will ever relearn how to not move and shoot..

Some dude kept sitting in smokes and thinking he was clever. I see a forward-ish smoke in cache A main, I say to my team "some idiot thinks he's cute sitting in smokes, just spam 'em so he learns his lesson". I then spam the smoke, reposition. My teammate follows my lead and spams the smoke too... combined frag. This game is annoying but moments like that when you realise you've totally outplayed someone are worth it.

But even then there were a lot of close rounds and lots of renegades winning 1v2's with 1 or 2 HP. Even when something goes right for SK, like on the last pistol, two of them get domed through smoke. poo poo happens. Cold being butt hurt on twitter made me scrape his sticker for TACO though. For now.
