qirex posted:story time: this one time at a conference I sat with a whole table of google design/usability people and it was a fiasco, one of the sessions had some group work and when we were supposed to generate ideas they were unable to translate them onto a piece of easel paper with markers within the 30 minute time limit and just picked my idea because I could draw basic shapes and text, like I drew a quick outline of the shape of california and they were like whoa that's really good [it wasn't] and they looked confused when I used more than one color of marker because "wireframes are supposed to be greyscale" they were also super quiet and mumbly I think since goog developers would never hire anyone who would deign to disagree with the Smartest People In The Room fuckin lol, I looked at an hci masters from one place and the grad students had the most usable fugly websites. literally offensively bad design. i just quietly lolled and left why trying to not offend their visually gimped designs

i use 3 finger swipe to go back, my only wish is that you could change the swipe direction because you have to swipe to the left to go back but with every other apple device you swipe to the right to go back

I already use alt+ left to go back because it always consistently works whereas backspace doesn't work if the wrong thing on the page has focus
