I really like the iPad, and I used to have a MBA and iPhone, but the past few years I think they've really gone in the wrong direction (thinner, flashier, more closed-off). I don't really care about the correlation with Steve being gone, but Tim's two big new products were the Macbook and the Watch and they both have not caught on in terms of Apple success.

To be fair I don't give a poo poo about the headphone jack thing because I already use a bluetooth setup to send sound directly to my hearing aids (it's kewl) but my wife is Very Annoyed about it as the designated music-haver in our relationship.

Unless you're gonna full buy in it's not really worth it, Keane. Well, unless you want a Macbook. Macs are just great computers (well except for the MacBook 12"), and totally good to have regardless of whatever phone you own.
