After well over a decade of people criticizing the idea of the government going to war for oil, Trump directly endorsing the idea of using war to get oil is a pretty spectacular brand of idiocy.

Hillary has no such illusions, however, she and the GOP loving hate each-other a whole bunch.

Just as a note, Obama actually campaigned on bipartisanship and getting along, while Clinton hasn't or at least hasn't to the extent that Obama did. I remember vividly so many times in his stump speeches in 2008 when he said republicans have their own ideas and we should listen and work with them. Hillary hates republicans and that is good I think.

This cohost on Rachel Maddow keeps saying "we" as if he spoke for all veterans. He also just completely sidebarred a retired Colonel's excellent points about topics and questions that drive to the heart of understanding what the military's purpose is in foreign policy by relating it to inane bullshit about "Yeah, and why hasn't he been asked why doesn't HE serve, or why don't his KIDS serve. That's what WE want to know". gently caress that guy.

He built the narrative that the GOP will burn the country down to spite the Democrats/the black person in the white house, and we should give him credit for that. He couldn't have done it without "playing dumb," so to speak.

The thing about the Clinton's record in the 90's, and what i'm starting to hate about "politicians Flip Flopping" is that Politicians are just people and people can change. For example Hillary did vote for the Iraq war. It's established fact at this point the Bush Administration lied to everyone about the justification can't fault Hillary for agreeing to something she was lied to about. Another one is her support for gay marriage. There is that quote going around about her saying she didn't support gay marriage int he 90s. In 1996, Gallop said only 27 percent of people supported gay marriage. http://www.gallup.com/poll/117328/marriage.aspx The LGBT rights movement is all about changing peoples minds about how we deserve rights and we got her to change her mind. That's a win for LGBT people.
