Joined the Grim Seekers on the policy of "get swole, fight dudes". Apostles need to exist so Arad doesn't explode. Lots of people wanting to kill the apostles and blow up Arad/restore Pandemonium means, conceptually, I get more fights. Fite Nite

A number of items already have 200+ stat points to a single stat. It would take a ton of time and effort to rebalance stats, unfortunately, because of saders. OTOH, extra stats depreciate reinforcement, which makes them a net positive imo. Stacking special multipliers are where the problem begins. Elemental elenore, double skill damage, and the new stacking smash, mostly.

I imagine that for the learning phase, disconnects will more likely be an amplifying issue rather than the root cause when we gently caress up. As far as timeframe stuff, it'll be a bit touch-and-go for me since I swap bi-monthly between night and day shifts, but I should regularly be available around 5 PM eastern. Anyone who has an interest in doing raid, start practicing stuff now in normals. And express interest here in the thread I guess. It'd be nice to have a tally of who wants to do this.

Raid is technically much easier now due to most classes not sucking rear end compared to an year ago. Gear wise, you're looking for either 9pc chrons + good weapon or various legendaries. If you're rocking full Gracia or Sea God, you're pretty much set. Full epic gear is when you want to blow everything up in 1 turn. I would advise everyone to learn the normal anton patterns where you aren't instantly blowing everything up. If you go in expecting to 2-3 turn everything, you'll be much better prepared. edit: Just to give a general idea as to how much easier raid has gotten, when I first started raiding, it would take roughly 45-50 minutes per raid. Yeah anyone looking to actually raid shouldn't get used to normal runs with me. You won't learn poo poo by watching me one-cycle or otherwise vaporize every boss. Join the non-carry runs when they form. If you're feelin really frisky, run it with neither a carry nor a sader. Learn boss iframes, learn to use your holds, learn how not to kill your party, and learn to avoid at the very least any attacks that will instantly wreck your poo poo or heal the boss.

Hey, if you were an established player who took out Nihilistic Demon Stones or other stuff from the guild chest for your Level Maketh Man character or Lancer; please contribute something back. The chest donations have overwhelmingly come from about 6 players, and now we're out of stones for newbies who don't have the resources to get 70 stones or so in Ghent.

I think you can use the epic transfer stone on them if you still have that from the previous event. You can also transfer them later IF they implement the new transfer system in the future but it's extremely costly and not worth it for low level epics. Basically sell them.

Leveling is slowing down a little bit at 65. How bad is the final push? I've been saving my EXP capsules as best I can so hopefully it'll go relatively smooth.

It speeds up again once you make your way through Iced Wall/Ghent/Oceanic Express. It's pretty smooth sailing from 73-83, then the last push a small chore; the work of a couple days.

If you skipped the 55~63 scenarios at level 64, you end up at around level 68 when you finish all the Oceanic scenarios. I would blow exp capsules the moment hit 68-69 and you get an epic quest that wants you to craft 200 iron scraps. That's more or less the end of the Oceanic scenarios. 70+ is extremely fast. You probably don't need to capsule until 82+
