Hillary walked through the mud, her knee-high combat boots making sloshy, thunderous steps. The rain drops plopped off her specially designed shocktrooper armor. Con number 14562 (member of Father Greg's Megachurch congregation) walked forward, cheeseburger in one hand, and fries in another. He was escorted into the chain gang by the Neo-FEMA forces, right in front of his family. It was getting dark, and the rain was not letting up. A bump from the prisoner behind him sent the freedom fries to the ground. The man looked at the golden morsels, glistening in the mud, when suddenly an iron boot came down and crushed them. "Keep moving, prisoner" Hillary snarled. The line moved on. "Wait wait!" cried a voice from the back. A uniformed man in his 20s ran forward. "Gregory. I see you have been promoted. How are your folks?" Hillary's demeanor softened at the sight of the young man. "They're alright now, my Eat The Rich benefits helped them get the meds they needed but...that's not the point! Ma'am...is this truly necessary? I know they are" Gregory narrowed his eyes, "Trump voters but surely this is wrong!" Hillary turned around and began walking alongside the line. "walk with me Gregory" The young man followed. "You see Gregory, I am not doing this because they are conservatives. I don't hate conservatives, some are good people. I'm not even doing this because they're Trump voters" Hillary took out a Blackberry from her shocktrooper armor, an antique she kept to remind her of "the old days" "Ah! Aaah! E-MAILS!!" cried 14562. Hillary snapped her fingers in frustration. A nearby guard took out his taser and drove it into 14562's back, causding the man to collapse. "No, they did something truly reprehensible. They hurt my family. I have a daughter you know. I love her dearly. She has nothing to do with politics. Dirty business and she was not a part of it. Yet they still felt they were in the right to mock a teenage girl. One who did nothing wrong to them. Just to hurt me." Hillary handed the Blackberry to Gregory. "What could be so bad that it would make yo-"Gregory stopped short as he saw the image on the screen. quote:"-ah." "Do you get it yet? What kind of people would do something like this? Who makes fun of a teenager to hurt her mom? Can we really call these kinds of people Americans? Imagine if this was your daughter. How would you react to this sort of undeserved slander?" Gregory silently handed back the Blackberry. Suddenly, he grabbed the guard's tazer and drove it into 14562's back again, this time making the man lose grip on his cheeseburger. "Well done Gregory. You'll go far in this world" "Ma'am. I am sorry for wasting your time." "Nonsense. My mood has improved immensely thanks to you. Give my best to your parents" Hillary gave a warm smile, before continuing to escort the prisoners.

Because there isn't any real reason to stand up or do anything really for the anthem, people get to come up with all sorts of reasons as to why it's disrespectful. Uh...my toilet broke and my property Managment company had it fixed...in America! So you better stand for the flag boy! Otherwise I will spread my feces everywhere!

The saddest thing is that if we accept the conceit that US soldiers who died in the middle east did so defending their country's values rather than advancing an interventionist foreign policy on behalf of the Bush administration, then that soldier died so that Kaepernick could exercise his 1st amendment rights by refusing to stand for the anthem. If anything, by exercising that right, Kaepernick is honoring that sacrifice far more than anyone getting pissy over his supposed disrespect. I believe you'll find that just because you have the right doesn't mean you should use it. It's like the fine china plates: You're not supposed to actually eat off of them, just put them in a display and admire them from a safe distance.

The President scolded me as he bailed out my failing business! This is what Hitler did to the Jews! We can't jail gays! This is like living in Nazi Germany! Michelle Obama is saying our schools should serve sales for lunch! This is going to lead to America becoming just like Nazi Germany! The new Ghostbusters, Star Wars, and Mad Max movies have so many women and black men in lead roles! It's white male genocide! What, you want to draw attention to armed agents of the government shooting unarmed members of racial minorities? That's nothing to worry about, they had it coming. You're so spoiled!

I remember my hatred of this meme fondly not familiar with that phrase code man assuming any part of this is true, oh no, kids getting education, lunch and medical care, so terrible looting i refuse to spend time figuring out what is going on in this meme. surely it makes no sense no don't think too hard obama bad that's it guns on the carpet is this gun shop on the titanic? wait is NY a no go for muslims? or for white people according to Muslims? mexico syrian hm, this is an exciting new idea. because I bet for a lot of people there is an amount of money that would work. I hope it's Massachusetts. Please? Whatever, take your guns and get the gently caress out of my state I looked this up. America has had 666,440+ combat deaths in all wars since 1775. This is generous, assuming that all wars are for the freedom of other people, which, laffo, they are not. If we add all other casualties including wounded, we arrive at 2,852,901+ (according to wikipedia). Now, because you are smart people you might reflect upon how this is potentially an inaccurate number considering the difficulty in record keeping over 200+ years of the republic. However this is moot, as the USSR, in fighting WWII against the Nazis (an unambiguously "for the freedom of other people" war if such a thing exists), lost somewhere between 8,668,000 to 11,400,000. may it never happen again muchos locos tacos mexicanos jejejje if boat, then no one drowns in the mediterranean. (Aylan Kurdi) every black person is an obama's BLM thug in EPORW world we do ban criminals. that's why they're called criminals what about your grandfather's country, mikey? literally "minorities are disease ridden" you'll be racist if you make jokes about Harambe. The only thing he's wrong about is the notion that we shouldn't call lovely Americans deplorable - though the notion that maybe Hillary herself shouldn't have is arguable. He actually makes a good, true point, though: even if it might have been ill-advised (I don't think it was, but you could argue that), Hillary's comment won't hurt her in a meaningful way because her supporters agree and her detractors are irrelevant. This guy is probably stupid but that block quote isn't all wrong, it just doesn't have the spine to call racism and misogyny out for what they are.

Finally caught up with the thread and just in time too. I've been friends with my godmother on Facebook for a couple years now, and she's leaned pretty heavy into Blue Lives Matter and Trump for the past two years. (There was one particular incident I might have to find involving a pretty sociopathic sheriff where I touched the poop and got a vague death threat from one of her friends.) Today she shares this: Anyone else heard of this? I want to say this was an anti-Trump thing first but they seem to have doubled down on it:

It's because in a recent speech Hillary Clinton said “You know, just to be grossly generalistic, you could put half of Trump’s supporters into what I call the basket of deplorables. Right? The racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamaphobic — you name it. And unfortunately there are people like that. And he has lifted them up. He has given voice to their websites that used to only have 11,000 people, now have 11 million. He tweets and retweets offensive, hateful, mean-spirited rhetoric. Now some of those folks, they are irredeemable. But thankfully they are not America." So of course being horrible people they act like that's a good thing.
