starting strength has limits to the gains you can milk. at some point you want to do isolation exercises. heavy is probably best for anyone underweight. if you're overweight its just geometrically harder to do lean gains because you are starting not lean. cables @ a gym really pay off after years.

Going into the gym is good, if you're out of shape. But doing the least bit of reading up on what you're going to do once you're in there is good, so you don't end up injuring yourself

Guess my weight loss was legit, I've still been at 195 the past few days(Was up to 203 about 2-3 weeks ago). Thinking of how much soda and beer I was drinking, I suppose that was about 500-750 calories a day I just randomly cut. I definitely felt a little weaker at the gym, but I was getting a man gunt so no regrets. I'll try to make the deficit a little smaller though.
