FuhrerHat posted:holy gently caress FTFY. Les Stroud, Canadian outdoor expert (who I think is pretty badass), has said that when he's alone in the wilderness, he isn't afraid of bears, or wolves, or mountain lions, but if he's terrified of bull moose during mating season. They're crazy fast (as you can see from the snow .gif), and if you try climbing a tree to get away, they will batter the tree down to get at you. Don't mess with the mighty Canadian Swamp Donkey.

I've never eaten moose. I've liked ever other type of deer I've had though so I'm assuming it's delicious.

Here's the original video. The commentary while the moose is moving past is hilarious. The top youtube comment is pretty good too. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6GEhM2Byk7w

Interesting thing is that scientists have a theory that life started because of lightning and volcanoes. Exactly like that! Apparently they created those conditions in a lab and the right chemicals that make up earth life formed sometimes. So if we're going to worship anything as a creator volcanoes are a good bet.

Good reflexes there, but the really badass thing to do is to properly tie the kegs before moving them.

Solice Kirsk posted:I've never eaten moose. I've liked ever other type of deer I've had though so I'm assuming it's delicious. Short answer: Yes, very tasty. Long answer: Get a few strong people to help you clean the animal. Moose are big and they smell terrible. They're soaked in moose goo. Pickaroons' are helpful. They're way more animal than you expect. Wear an apron. But worth it. Make sure you use the whole animal. They're not disposable.
