The TIFF reviews are saying Isaac and Bale are fantastic in it but it's mostly just very bland.

Honestly the only thing I didn't like about the "teaser" was the music selection. Just felt if you are doing a period piece for the 1920's they should throw some jazz or ragtime or something to fully complete the feel the trailer is trying to create.

Chamber pieces, they're called, and when done well, they're magnificent. although usually it's a dialogue between two people in a room, and not a lengthy gunfight in a warehouse.
