Also, the overly formal and flowery language drives me nuts. No one talks like that, it sounds werid as gently caress, and makes you look like a creep. It's like those okc messages that women get that are like that too. Women are not going to want to gently caress you because you talked like some bad imitation of Shakespeare. It's like a typed out Fedora. Does anyone remember the one message that was super formal, except it said "or enjoying my main dawg Neil Degresse Tyson" which was hilarious becuase it was so jarring.

To make things clear, how are NSFW images supposed to be posted. Assuming they should be posted at all. Just a link to the imgur page instead of a direct link to the image? Cause even if I get rid of the img tags I don't know what addons people might have on their browser that auto loads those links. Cause I can hover over an imgur link and load the picture, NSFW or not.

I, also, don't have any hard and fast rules but if you've got a browser extension that autoloads pictures maybe don't browse this thread at work. Or ever, considering some of the content. I know that Diakatana was just the worst, but having played Doom recently, holy gently caress does it still stand up as an example of excellent game feel. Also yeah, that hair is a fine signature look. The friendly-muttonchops-chinstrap thing should be burned away with fire, but the hair is adorable.

I feel like Daikatana was a casualty of an era of weird, overblown projects that ate it one way or another. PC gaming was still a really weird niche thing back in those days, and I think Romero fell harder than any other just because of the expectation of it all. Also the Bitch ad, but he's gone on record saying he regrets it and thought it was a bad idea, so I can't hold it against him too much. Hopefully his project with Hall goes somewhere here soon, like getting a demo out and the kickstarter back up.

The fact that they put the kickstarter on hold until the project is at a state that they can be proud of gives me a lot of hope. Not just another star citizen or broken age; he's actually wanting to make something that fans will love.
