I've been on a Zenyatta kick lately and try to position myself to avoid getting charged. When he drops his shield I'll discord him and just unload orbs while he's flailing at my allies. Having him dueling an ally that I'm also healing often ends up with him being dead pretty quick.

A few characters can make it going that route, and I've wondered if you could organize it whether it would be worthwhile to go with a comp where everyone can make it through there just to bypass that first chokepoint entirely...Pharah, D.Va, Genji, Winston, Mercy and I guess Lucio could do it though I haven't tried. That doesn't really do anything for the last chokepoint which is way worse though.

I think I'm officially Good At Lucio now, at least I'm quite often pulling 4 golds including elims on him and feel like I'm successfully carrying matches. But that's in Quick Play. I'm afraid to dip back into solo comp queue. The last couple of times have hurt too much, getting teams that just can't be carried no matter what. Gibraltar attack? Awesome! Slampick Genji, Hanzo, Junkrat, Widow. The 5th guy thinks about it for a while... McCree. Also I'm addicted to Junkrat. He may not be Good but he's so, so much fun. ENDLESS SPAM AND THROWING THINGS

 Regressing to the mean is gonna be a bitch. The last two games went to time bank, both with wins in the last ~15 seconds, probably the most stressful matches I've ever played. Conc blast is pharah's best movement tool and bad Pharah's don't use it as such. It helps when you're up in the air and want to reposition fast, like if you're under fire, really well. She could always be more mobile (horizontally) but if you use it right, conc blast helps a ton.

Reinhardt is probably the best balanced character in the game. Montecristo and DoA will be casting the OGN Overwatch league. For anyone not into League of Legends they are probably the most popular casters to English speakers, as evidenced by the fact they have a big following even though they do English casting in Korea. I got the game shortly before the Rio Olympics event started. I stopped playing for a few weeks durring the event, and when I fired it up yesterday I had a bunch of stuff unlocked that I didn't have previously. A friend of mine in a similar situation did not get anything. What happened?

You can get over it with your jump jets if you wanna save your conc blast. You can go up the road slightly on the right for a slightly higher start point. Leap from there and burn your boost to get over the top.

I play him occasionally and get silver and gold in objective kills and sometimes a bronze in elims. I'm not the best with him but I did do well with a team that was mostly dps with 1 tank on Anubis.

Are you booping from the front? If they're holding towards you as you do it it kills their momentum really fast due to the strong air control Blizz gives you in this game. This means that characters like Reaper who are trying to close with you as much as they can will often not move far. Use Lucio's mobility in a fight as much as you can. Jump like a ferret on speed and boop from the side as much as you can, especially when you're in a fight with multiple team mates around you so you can get the opponents as they're moving crossways in front of you. Booping is always useful even when there isn't an easy environmental kill around because it does a small but significant bump of damage, and more importantly, disorients the hell out of the enemy and disrupts their aim. All of these advantages are negated if they see it coming and anticipate it. The only reason to do it from the front is if you absolutely need to clear a small amount of distance or they're right on the edge of a drop that you can nudge them over. Did I mention jumping around like a ferret on speed? I chased a Soldier onto a health pack a few games back and despite his resetting back to full health I (eventually) booped and punched him to death despite his deploying a heal during the fight, just because I was sticking to the walls and jumping around him out of his line of fire.
