https://diskodragonfruit.bandcamp.com/ Two singles out. "BVT" has a vague acid house sound and shoestring production values, "Glossy Ruin" is more minimal techno and much cleaner.

I can't sit still so I wrote a bunch more songs. They'll "officially" (whatever that means) be out as an album in October called OMENS II but here's 7 of the songs far: https://neonshudder.bandcamp.com/album/omens-ii (No idea how many it will end up being but more than 7! 8? 15? 200? who knows)

So I normally don't do punk poo poo anymore, but I just got my first USB Audio interface and decided to celebrate by writing a quick one. Track's private because I haven't mixed/edited it at all, still trying to figure that kind of stuff out. e: Took down the punk song while I work on actually editing it so here's a different thing https://soundcloud.com/sarcastronauts/dont-stop-cruisin Danyull fucked around with this message at 15:50 on Sep 14, 2016 |

My metal band Ilmasai released an album on Friday, check it out if you dig sludge metal and noise: https://ilmasai.bandcamp.com/ I also released a solo album of pretty chill instrumental rock on Friday under the moniker Yawning Tiger. https://yawningtiger.bandcamp.com/releases

I live in Costa Rica and play bass and guitar, and run a home studio as well as record touring artists (mostly pop/punk, hardcore, and stuff like that). Producing and mixing's mainly my thing so check it out, I'd definitely love to receive comments and critics! https://soundcloud.com/dimatrod

Do people actually read this thread...? I'm your average pathetic fat nerd who makes music on his computer. I've done a mix of stuff ... synthwave, chiptune, hiphop ... I put out my first album of traditional Balkan music in chiptune style a couple years ago. I have a serious love-hate relationship with my work. What I'm currently interested in doing is to refine my hip hop chops and git gud at jazz theory so I can explore the boundaries of the musical frontier... Very interested in finding like-hearted folks for friends, mentoring, collab etc, thanx for listening comments and crits are very welcome. http://soundcloud.com/markdormin

Nobody reads threads. I just recently purchased a Roland RD-800 and have been really enjoying experimenting with what it can do! I love that it has a simple record to USB function for recording simple one track improv, etc. I've been throwing more stuff on my SoundCloud due to that. Took a crack at Georgia On My Mind (though from memory...): https://soundcloud.com/incredulousdylan/georgia-on-my-mind Piano with some simple pads at times. How do you guys come up with titles for tunes? I always go to export something I'm happy with and just can't come up with a name! Anyways, here's something I started the other day. Tried to mix it in a smarter way, trying to get a good balance between sheer loudness and not being totally smashed. Not sure it worked, but here it is : https://soundcloud.com/glxe/23-nov-2016-future-club

well why not posted:How do you guys come up with titles for tunes? I always go to export something I'm happy with and just can't come up with a name! Mix sounds good, with a lot of tracks its really hard to get that balance down. The style is cool though, kind of like glitch-electro.

Thanks! I actually had a friend who does a lot of mixes for people do an alternate mix I won't post yet. He made it sound even better, if not a little reverb heavy. Interesting to see my mix A/B with someone more experienced's version, particularly because he mostly works in the indie-rock space. Way more emphasis on room sound and way less slamming it, haha.

Mixing is so important but very difficult. It took me years and years to learn how to properly mix my songs. But once you get a good mix going, your song will sound great no matter what. Having dynamics is crucial in creating music, who'd listen to something that's got no room in it? Its cool that you work with a mixer when you create music I'm sure it's very helpful and probably makes the track better.

Yeah for sure. I'll definitely be hitting him up again next time I have something serious to mix. Even just a fresh set of ears on someone who knows what they're doing is a huge boon.
