This thread is partially about finding new uses for ketchup, and dipping grilled cheese in that is a thing that can happen. I've had grilled cheese made with corn meal too, that's hella tasty.

Made with corn meal in what fashion, exactly? I don't usually see any additional grains entering into the grilled cheese formula

I've never actually made it, I think it was mixed with or dusted onto the butter before frying.

They had one that was 3 cheeses, and ended up being an inch thick of white, yellow, and orange 'cheese' in between two bases. We got a double cheese pizza with this base of course. It was.... not good.

I don't usually see any additional grains entering into the grilled cheese formula The dominoes I used to work at in the 90's used corn meal instead of flour to stretch the pizza dough out on before being put on the wire mesh circle things for the oven. They claimed it made a tastier product but I'm pretty sure it was just easier to clean up at closing. As far as a grilled cheese, maybe if you're doing the butter or mayo on the outside and you give it a dusting of corn meal to sort of make a crispy almost-breading or something.

Kumaton posted:Holy poo poo would. I've had this kind of burger and, while delicious, is very impractical. I mean, look at this thing: https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/the-ballyhoo-grill-gainesville?select=3IfLInAdWHHWCjKzNM3GGQ I had to basically disassemble it, make one grilled cheese and use the remaining 2 breads to put back on the bruger as the bun, then eat the sandwich individually, then the burger just to be able to take a bite out of it. Anyway I definitely would try that grilled cheese pizza but knowing pizza hut's past gimmick crusts, what you actually get is going to look much less appetizing than that picture and you'll wonder why you just paid 20 dollars for it.

Its a salt bomb but its really good. I grew up in a house that didn't use much salt ever, to the point where whenever my friends would add extra salt to something I'd ask them why and they would just shrug. One of my friends would always order a burger king whopper cut in 1/4s so he could put one of those individual salt shaker paper tube things on each quarter. Since none of that is anti food porn; I opened a bag of m&m's 2 months ago and it tore wrong and exploded m&m shrapnel everywhere but mostly into the sugar drawer(the drawer where I keep all the cookies and candy). I've just been picking out a handful at a time since then, weird candy/cookie dust and all and eating it with a cup of tea for breakfast.
