Honestly the compression is the only thing that made it hard for me to read.

It's obnoxious, but presumably that's the point, since no graphic designer is going to think that's a normal way to display text and that was absolutely done by a graphic designer.

That's certainly the result but it's not the point. Any freshly graduated designer would talk about the "journey" that the eyes go through.

Since it's so irregularly laid out, it kind of forces the brain to pay attention, since you have to expend a little bit of thought in figuring out how to actually parse the words.

That the words don't actually say anything is a different problem.

(Really the whole image is a problem.)
