Koisuru Yankee Girl  it starts out with a very harsh-looking yankee girl confessing to the boy she likes, and, mistakenly thinking he's being bullied, the boy says yes. It's super cute. Not a lot of chapters out right now, though they've been putting new ones out fairly regularly.

Girls of the Wild's For Context; Red here is a bully that has been keeping up the act even when Jaegu (The MC) left for another school and things have escalated to the point where Red poisoned the MC's yonger siblings via a peace offering dinner (MC is poor, Dad's dead, Mom's missing). This is at the point where they're going to square off in the ring and Jaegu has officially had enough of Red's poo poo. Just an FYI, this is from a scanlation because my god it's a futter getting images off Webtoon (obviously for good reason but still)

I'm not sure if this was the thread where someone had suggested SWWEEET, but thanks for whoever did. Aside from some raunchiness, that was a great read. So much talent from the author! Everything was drawn with such vibrance. Its sad to read he/she (I keep seeing the author referred to either) killed themselves, that surely was written by someone so terribly miserable.

Tomo-chan has 423 "chapters"(individual comics), at a normal 4koma pace volumewise, that's 15 comics per chapter and so roughly 28 chapters total, so a little under 3 volumes, right? That's really not that much especially for a romcom. How many chapters did it take for the couple in kimi no todoke to finally get together? I think people get worked up over it more because since it's a daily comic immediately available online, it's more just right there in its presence in your memory and doesn't have a week cooldown or anything.

a comic-a-day requires different pacing and structure than a weekly or monthly comic. you can't add up the number of pages and call them equal.
